Delay in Moving Became a Life-Saving Personal Oracle

Luck?
Synchronicity?
Invisible Moving Sidewalk?
All of the above!
INSIDE
EDITION described little Yuri Milligan as a “lucky little toddler” and indeed
he was. Thanks to Konrad and
Jennifer Lightner who were carrying their box springs to a U Haul when they
noticed a little boy throwing toys out of a third story window, and then lean
out of the window as if he we was trying to retrieve the toys. They called out
to warn him to stay inside but the little boy continued to edge his way out of
the window. Quick-thinking Conrad positioned the box springs under the window
as Jennifer ran to call 911. Konrad explained to INSIDE EDITION, "I threw the mattress (under the window) and got ready for
him. When he was about to fall I tried to cushion his fall into the box
spring."
When little Yuri did fall it
was into Konrad’s arms.
At
the end of the on air report when host Deborah Norville mentioned that the
couple had been delayed for 30 minutes while they tried to get the mattress in
the elevator I though, ahh … an Invisible Moving Sidewalk!
What is an Invisible Moving
Sidewalk, you ask!
I
coined the term to describe a series of synchronistic events that are designed to carry you to a specific destination. Think
people movers in large airports. Except these sidewalks can be life-altering,
and in this case possibly life-saving.
To
decode how the universe sprung into action to protect little Yuri from what was
about to happen let’s break the events down using the formula for how personal
oracles operate.
Need + Delivery System +
Message/Action = Personal Oracle
The
NEED was Yuri’s three-year-old Yuri was unaware that his behavior was
dangerous.
The
DELIVERY SYSTEM was a couple trying to move box springs to a U-Haul. Note that the elevator’s synchronistic delay that placed them precisely where
they were needed.
The
MESSAGE/ACTION was Little Yuri’s
safe landing.
We
all have experiences that make us feel as if they are orchestrated by hidden
hands. The key is noticing them and then sharing them with others.
The more we share our
personal oracle experiences the more we realize that what some call
supernatural is quite simply the natural design of the universe, and together
we expand the boundaries of conventional reality.

Prophetic Dreams: Personal Oracle Gifts

Today's post was originally published in Inner Self Newsletter, a wonderful publication that posts articles about intuition and awareness, parenting and pets, health and healing, dream interpretation, horoscopes, and more. And subscriptions are free!
Prophetic Dreams: Crinkles in Time Giving Advance Warning?
In the wake of disasters, multiple reports of prophetic dreams and oracles often surface. Immediately after the Titanic sank, dozens of people reported canceling their trip because of dreams that foretold of the sinking. It makes you wonder how many others had a similar warning but ignored it and paid the price.
A mother, a father, and their five children were all fast asleep when frantic screams jarred the parents wide awake. “Daddy’s dead, Daddy’s dead, Daddy’s dead!” The parents rushed down the hall to comfort their hysterical son. The father picked up the four-year-old and held him close, patting him and whispering, “Everything’s okay. Daddy’s right here.”
In the morning the boy was still upset. As they went through the familiar routine of getting all of the children fed and ready for the day, the parents realized they couldn’t just drop the little guy off at day care as usual. They decided to alter their routine. The mother would take the older children to school, and the father would take their son to day care. The father phoned his office to let people know he’d be late for a scheduled meeting and then drove his son to preschool.
Case #1: Paying Attention to Prophetic Dreams
The father and son met with the boy’s teacher to discuss what had occurred the night before. After making sure that the boy was calm and settled in his normal routine, the father clicked back into work mode and set off, late for his meeting at the Twin Towers in New York City. On the way, he checked for voice messages. There was one. He expected it to be an update about his nine o’clock meeting. Instead he heard his wife’s frantic voice pleading, “Don’t go into the city. Please don’t. And tell me you’re not there. Please, tell me you’re not there. Turn around and come back home.”
A sick feeling overcame him. Something felt terribly wrong. She was practically crying. Then he heard her say, “An airplane just exploded into the Twin Towers.”
The date was September 11, 2001. Thanks to their son’s prophetic dream and their decision to prioritize their son’s needs, the father never made it to his meeting, but drove back to their home in New Jersey unharmed.
Case #2: Taking Action on Prophetic Dreams
By taking action on a prophetic dream, this woman kept her property safe. The dream took place on some property Sheila owns in another state. A trailer sits on the property. In her dream, the trailer door was wide open, and all of the neighbors were milling in and out at random, throwing beer cans and trash all around.
Sheila says that it was one of those dreams that you watch from outside the dream box; you’re not in the cast of characters.
The dream was unsettling. Sheila hadn’t visited the property for some time since it was an eight-hour drive each way, but the message of the dream kept nagging at her. She decided to make a road trip to check on her property. Sure enough, when she arrived, the door was wide open and her trailer was trashed. Thanks to the dream, she was able to secure the trailer and avoid further problems.
Prophetic Dreams: A Crinkle In Time Giving Advance Warning?
Perhaps you’ve had your own prophetic dreams. I’ll always remember one I had when my daughter Julie was about three. In the dream I walk to the edge of a swimming pool and look down into the water. There, at the bottom of the pool, is Julie’s lifeless body clad in her pink-and-white-checked swimsuit. I awoke filled with dread, and from that moment on, I never could relax when Julie and I were around a swimming pool.
I heaved a sigh of relief when she grew out of that little pink swimsuit and then dismissed the dream as irrelevant. I never gave any more thought to the idea of this dream being prophetic until I was working on this chapter. Then I realized that the image of Julie’s dead body at the bottom of a swimming pool made me watch her even closer.
Of course, I will never know for sure, but I’m beginning to wonder if the dream was a crinkle in time, giving me advance warning of a possibility that was out there. If that is true, perhaps the dream and the caution it generated in me saved Julie’s life.
What About You?
Have you ever had what seemed to be a prophetic dream and later dismissed it as irrelevant because you adjusted your behavior accordingly?

If
you’re in the Tucson area this weekend, I hope you’ll stop by the Tucson
Festival of Books located on the University of Arizona campus and say hello!
I’m honored to be returning as one of the 400 authors who have been invited to participate in
panels, presentations and book signings.
TFOB
is the 4th largest book festival in the US and draws over 100,000 people
of all ages and interests to the campus for two days of fascinating and
fun-filled activities. Peruse their website to find your favorite authors and
see what appeals to you and your family.
The Festival has
something for everyone – author panels talking about every genre of writing;
countless exhibitors with book related wares; a food court with snacks from
cotton candy to delicious bar-b-que; a culinary stage with renown chefs, a
circus, Science City, and more. The children’s activity
center is always a delight – did somebody say face painting?
Thanks
to the interactive map on their extremely efficient website I’ve already
located where both of my events will be held.

Panel:
From Book Proposal to Published Book
I’ll be presenting
on this panel with my amazing agent Claire Gerus and new friend Armen Bacon,
author of Griefland, “an intimate
portraint of love, loss and unlikely frienship.” Our moderator will be local
lawyer Jim Whitehill. A booksigning will follow.
Panel topic: What is the process of publishing a
book? For those publishing by traditional methods, it starts with a book
proposal that attracts the players needed to secure a publishing deal. But that’s
just the beginning of the publishing process – a process that’s also useful for
self-publishers to understand.

Workshop:
Writing for the Spiritual Market
In the first half of
this program, I will be sharing what made EVERYDAY ORACLES Decoding The Divine Messages That Are All Around Us a
best seller. I also will introduce personal oracle cafes (www.personaloraclecafes.com) and pass out prototypes of my new CLOUD-SPEAK PERSONAL ORACLE CARDS.
In the second half, Dr. Kermie Wohlenhaus, the gifted author of How to Talk and Actually
Listen to Your Guardian Angel, will share her insight on her work, and if there is
time after the Q and A she will lead us in a little intuitive development.
Workshop topic: Hundreds of spiritual books have been perennial
bestsellers. What has made them so? Learn from two published authors of
spiritual books what works and doesn’t work for this market.
I hope to see you at one or both events!

Academy Awards: Ancestral Messages and Hummingbird Metaphors
7:10 AM | Posted by
Anonymous
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been a big fan of
the Academy Awards. So you can imagine my joy when I stumble across celebrities
associated with this event who share their significant personal oracle
experiences as a matter of course.
The first time I noticed this happen was in 2006 when one of
my favorite actors took the stage to accept the Oscar for Best Actor for his
powerful portrayal of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland. Forest Whitaker stood at the podium,
appearing calm and grounded. He closed his eyes and bowed his head and then
remained perfectly silent for quite some time, as if letting this extraordinary
moment settle into the very heart of his being. Finally he spoke. “I can feel
the breath on my neck and the tingling in my body. For me it is like my
ancestors speaking to me.”
A few days ago I was reading an interview with Ellen Degeneres,
host of the 2014 Oscars, in People Magazine,
where she said “the most helpful folks in my life have been animals.” Her
relationship with animals began as a child when she saved the life of a
mockingbird that had fallen out of its nest in a tree. The other children began
teasing it and poking it with sticks. Ellen rescued the little mockingbird,
then took it home and nurtured it. When it was full grown she returned it to
the same tree and released it.
After Ellen’s sitcom was cancelled in 1998 she noticed a
hummingbird in a fountain that looked like it was dead. When she reached in to
remove it, she saw that it was still alive. She held it up to the sun and it
began to flap its wings and then flew straight up and then back out into the
world. Ellen interpreted it as a metaphor for her life. “That just when you think
you should give up there is a hand that comes and gets you and goes, Nope,
you’re going to be okay.”
Whether it’s our ancestors making their presence felt to
support us, a hummingbird signaling
that we are going to be okay or every other message imaginable, these signs
appear all around us everyday.
It is easy to slip into an illusion of separateness until
something occurs to remind us that being isolated and alone is an illusion.
All we have to do is tune in and notice those hidden hands
of universal support that are always there for us.

Cheers to Hearts: The Universal Symbol of Love
4:15 PM | Posted by

To end of this month’s tribute to love we celebrate with a
grand finale of hearts to honor this universal symbol of love.
Thanks to all who shared your photos and what they
symbolized to you.
From Lee
Prickly cactus heart -
Her message: Know when to protect your heart.
Also from Lee
taken during a Divisedero hike -
The message: Keep on keeping on.
From Kerri
Sidewalk oracle during a
walk through the Waldo fire burn area -
The
message: A
reminder that there is still much love in our world, even in the place of such
fear and destruction!
From Kathy
The mysterious bookcase
heart –
The message:
I sit on my bed
daily and read my email. In front of me is a large bookcase filed with things I
enjoy seeing, this is my time of reflection everyday.
I am aware ....I
know I am responsible ......that there is a connection between my inner world
and my outer world they ebb and flow in perfect harmony, and in times of stress
they clang about in chaos.
In the clanging
times I am unhappy I forget I have guidance, that I have been loved, am loved,
will always be loved.
One day when I was
particularly unloving towards myself, the world, the universe, and almost any
living thing, I looked up and a beam of light was on the bookcase and
projecting rays onto the shelf edge in a heart-shape.
I could not figure
out the source, yes, a widow does exist to the left, it is curtained, and has blinds,
and to this day I do not know how that beam of light projected to that
particular place high on the shelf.
It has never
appeared again. It lightened my mood and sent me out into the day, trusting in
my heart someone is loving me, guiding me....even if the source is hidden.
And what better way to end our
tribute than
this popular red heart.
I love the way this simple red wooden heart presses
against the boundaries of what we think can happen.
Thanks to a woman who wants to be referred to as an
anonymous fan from Ontario, Canada, we are treated to another amazing
submission from my website.
Lets begin with her original message:
Hi Ann,
I caught your show on Coast to Coast while I was
driving. So interesting!!! I kept my car running just to hear it!
I too had an experience of finding a heart, in the
grass...
I remember seeing this sort of frozen red wooden heart
once, stuck in the grass during late winter when I was going through a
particular trying time. I got out of the car on a cold day, there it was.
My eyes were drawn to it, a heart in the grass, a child’s puzzle piece, frozen
there over the winter. And as the snow had started to melt it was
uncovered.
I remember thinking very strongly the message to me was
“you are loved”
...loved by God, universe, spirit, whatever it may be.
I took a photo of it, as I could not believe it.
Then I pried it out of the ground and kept it.
I find this heart whenever I need it.
Strange.
The other day I found it on a towel in my bedroom. I did
not put it there. . . for sure!
It's clearly a "personal oracle" of love that
shows up when I need to feel loved by God/spirit/the universe.
I've found it in the grass (on that damp, cold late
winter day),
….in my jewelry box (I go in it every day and it was
never there before)
….in the back of my SUV
….on a towel
….on my coffee table downstairs
and a couple of other places I can't recall right now.
I definitely had not put it any of those places and
actually thought I lost it or might have thrown it out by mistake.
I also have a photo of my husband's deceased brother
that turns up like that.
Very strange.
It's the last Christmas photo with his son.
I find it everywhere at times.
Also when my mother passed away, I found a black and
white photo of her hugging tightly my best friend who passed away when she
was 12 and I was 11.
They were both smiling at the camera and in some type of
outdoor green space.
I had NEVER come across that photo ever before.
Somehow I knew it was of them having a
reunion...wherever they were in the next life! That photo was definitely a
keeper!
Thanks to this fan in Ontario for sharing her thought
provoking experiences.
Occurrences such as these may be more common than you
would think. The first person who read this commented, “So I’m not the only one
things like this happen to…”
Personal oracles not only come in every form imaginable,
they operate outside the neatly defined margins we consider to be the norm.

More Love Notes From Beyond: John Lennon's "Woman"
11:08 AM | Posted by
Anonymous
Today we are revisiting Dianne and Eugene’s love connection that continues to navigate it’s way through the veils that separate the world of the living and the world of spirit.
The italicized
paragraph was published in EVERYDAY ORACLES Decoding The Divine Messages that
are all around us.
Dianne was driving along
thinking about her late husband when she noticed their song; John Lennon’s
“Woman” was playing on the radio. What a coincidence, she thought. She was
remembering the way Eugene would sing the chorus to her and expand the word
love, “I looove you, oh yeah, now and forever.” At that very moment she noticed
the license plate on the car in the next lane. It read B L V N L V. It was no
coincidence. She knew he was letting her know that he was close by.
As years passed the pain of his loss was not as severe. She
was proud of herself for the way she was moving on and creating a good life
without Eugene. Still she welcomed a warm sensation that she experienced on
certain occasions that she interpreted as evidence of their remaining connection,
though it was nothing she could put a handle on.
All of her adult life she’d made altars to honor her
ancestors for the Day of the Dead holiday. When Eugene passed she added a
candle for him that she placed near his picture and then took special care to
include the specific foods that she knew he liked. This went on for 5 years
until one year when she decided to switch all of her candles to the battery
operated candles that were gaining in popularity. As she placed 6 new candles from the same package on her mantel,
under the picture that honored each ancestor, Eugene, she noted the maximum cell
life of the battery was 3 weeks at 24/7 usage. November moved to December and she
watched as one by one the light in the candles stopped burning. Each time a
candle went dark she heaved a quiet sigh of relief when she discovered that
Eugene’s candle was still alight. She was almost afraid to hope it was a sign
from Eugene – she had no idea how he could do it. Her analytical mind chimed in
to remind her that he had worked in Silicone Valley, and technology was his area
of expertise … Eugene’s candle
continued long after the other candles went dark. His energy shined bright
through all of the holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Finally
10 ½ weeks after it was turned on, Eugene’s candle finally went dark.
During this time Dianne became intrigued with the
steadfastness of his presence and decided to see if Eugene would signal her in
other ways as well. She bought a silver E and wore it on a chain around her
neck. That’s when she started noticing the letter E showing up in the most
unexpected places. There were trucks with a giant two-foot single E painted on
them. Oh so many single clouds in the shape of an E. And one day the clouds
were actually spelling out his name: a perfect capital E, a small case u followed
by a less-than-perfect g, but the
remaining letters, e-n-e were as
perfect as the first two letters of his name. There was no mistaking what was
going on this time. How she wished
she had a smart phone to photograph each event!
The last time Dianne contacted me she reported that the
secret coded messages from Eugene continue. “They
always seem to arrive when I need them the most. And if I want him to send me a
sign I just ask.”
Thank you again Dianne for continuing to share your personal
oracles.
The more we share
our personal oracle experiences the more we realize that what some call
supernatural is quite simply the natural design of the universe – and together
we expand the boundaries of conventional reality.

Love Notes: Personal Oracles for a Father from His Daughter
6:54 AM | Posted by
Anonymous
What better time than Valentine week to share heart-warming
messages to a father from his deceased daughter. So I’d like to share some of
the ways my English husband’s daughter Suzanne continues to deliver love notes
to her father.
Kenneth had no idea what was occurring when he noticed a
song playing over in his mind. We were traveling
from the mainland to a hospital in Hawaii to be by Suzanne’s side. When we landed we learned we were too
late. Suzanne had passed around 9:30 that morning.
Dazed and devastated, we checked into a hotel in Waikiki and
then walked down to the beach. Finally we stopped to have something to eat. I
didn’t even register on the popular songs that were playing in the background
until Kenneth reached out and held my hand in his. “Ann, this song was
playing in my mind on the flight over,” he said.
I listened. Cindy Lauper was singing;
If you’re lost you can look – and you will
find me.
Time
after time.
If
you fall I will catch you – I’ll be waiting.
Time
after time
Kenneth started trying to remember what time it was when he
heard that song playing in his mind. In the end he came to the conclusion that
it was around the time his daughter passed.
A few months later we were at a pizzeria talking about family
surnames names and the unique strength of connection they represent, especially
in the English culture. This time I noticed Suzanne’s song, “Time after Time,”
started playing in the background. Suzanne had chosen another very specific moment
to let us know she was close by. Her message was clear. She was reminding her
father, just as she did by keeping her maiden name when she married, how proud
she was to be a McQuade.
That fall as Kenneth’s birthday approached, I realized it
would be the first year he wouldn’t be receiving anything in the mail from her.
It was never about the gift. Suzanne had earned a reputation with everyone: her
gifts were always first to arrive and were chosen with very special care. I hadn’t shared this thought with
anyone, even Kenneth, so you can imagine my surprise at what happened a few
days before his birthday.
A co-worker and I were working on a project when out of the
blue she asked, “Did Kenneth’s daughter call him DADDY?” Not only did she call
him Daddy, her cards were profusely decorated with drawings of child- like
hearts!
The co-worker paused. “I usually don’t get messages like this, but Kenneth’s
daughter wants me to deliver a message from her. She says, ‘Happy Birthday,
Daddy!’”
How like Suzanne to be early and reliable!
